Lommefilm / pocket movies

Small movies about your daily life is a great tool when exchanging with other schools. These kind of movies are also an important part of our plans for this website. We are looking forward to see your movies here in the forum.
The Danish participants are encouraged to visit EMU on their site on pocket movies. Here teachers and students learn how to record, edit and publish small movies.
EMU is introducing a competition as well: Din u-film /your pocket movie. Students can enter the competition with a 90 seconds movie on a number of topics. Movies should be sent to EMU before April 1st 2011. There will also be prizes for the best movies!
A brillant site for inspiration and learning is Lommefilm.dk.

Boxes sent to Danish schools

Just the other day our staircase was filled with the boxes, that we purchased in Kenya. In each of the boxes were artefacts from daily life in Kibera: school uniforms, school books, pencil cases, photos, food containers, combs and much more. Later we will find more artefacts to put inside.
By now the Danish classes have received one each.
Enjoy!
